Our first travel video. We’ve come a long way!

Chris and I were recently skimming through our YouTube channel and decided to watch a few of our older videos.  The whole reason we started filming travel videos was so that we could update our friends and family back home about all of our comings and goings in South Korea.  We’re just going to be honest and warn you that our older stuff was, well… shit.  We had no idea what we were doing when it came to filming, editing, and being in front of the camera.  We have definitely learned a lot since we first started recording in July of 2009.

We’ll let you make the judgement of our progress for yourself.  Below is the very first video that we ever shot.  We had been in Korea for only a week and didn’t understand any Korean.  We hadn’t seen any other foreigners yet and were trying to figure out how to get ourselves around our new city of Pohang.

I’ll tell you one thing for sure.  Our older videos are great to watch if you’re in the mood to laugh, cry, cringe, and reminisce about Korea.  Enjoy!

Always fun to watch those first videos! I haven’t attempted to make any editing whatsoever as of yet, but will soon! Enjoyed watching and laughed at the intro a lot haha

Gotta say it’s still a very cool video haha… you two are just such naturals in front of the camera! Wish we were blessed with the same talents! 🙂

Hahaha, I didn’t think it was as terrible as you made it out to be! Definitely a commendable first effort – and probably better than the videos I regularly make now! Lol.
