We went to the Taj Mahal and all we got was… ENGAGED!

Ah yes, the rumors are true!  Yesterday we were able to fulfill two lifelong dreams.  First, we saw the majestic Taj Mahal in all of its glory.  It truly is a magnificent wonder.  We were awe struck and could have stared at it for hours.  The only reason we didn’t is because while there, Chris managed to get down on one knee and propose!

In true Captain and Clark form we decided that the best way to share the details of our special day would be through video.  We just finished telling both of our families and now want to share the happy news with you!  We can’t believe we managed to finally get engaged!

Again, apologies for not posting more frequently about our India trip.  It seems that twitter and instagram work best for us while here.  We’ll be sure to update more over the next few days!

Most romantic proposals Taj Mahal

I love the fact that I must check to prove I am human….kinda made me wish there was another option!

CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement! I imagine it will be difficult to find the perfect honeymoon location since you have already done so much traveling. Maybe someplace romantic like Bali or unique like Machu Picchu…but as you well know, it doesn’t matter as long as you are together. How exciting!

Congratulations; how romantic, exotic and exciting! Looking forward to hearing all about the reception dinner details, the wedding details and the honeymoon details (you make all the decisions, let your staff suffer all the details and then your families will pay for everything). I had a destination wedding planner and it was the best! Be good to each other between now and the wedding date; sometimes things can get a bit complicated. Remember, this is an EXTREMELY SPECIAL time that prayerfully will never occur again. Best Wishes!!!
