WEDDING PREVIEW *SPOILER ALERT*
We’re wed, b*tches! ‘Tis true, the rumors are out and we are happy to confirm them- we are blissfully wed. As of September 14th, 2013 Captain and Clark are a union for the ages. We wanted to take this time to chronicle the auspicious event. As we wait for our professional wedding pics to come in we are going to put together a visual journey for all of you who couldn’t make it (or those of you, like us, who just want to relive it again).
Since we were getting married in the Bavarian theme town of Leavenworth, WA, we decided to make our rehearsal dinner a “gut time ja.” Framed by the epic background of Red Tail Canyon Farms we got our lederhosen and dirndls up and on!

Then came the wedding itself. Leavenworth has an average temp of 75 degrees in mid September. We however were blessed with 95 searing degrees. Or that might just have been the residual hotness of our wedding party. We all sweat from our eyes. Especially when it got emotional, the eye sweats were unbearable.

Each of the groomsmen received a cigar box with: one moleskine notebook, pencil, mason jar shot glass, custom flask, whiskey, bow-tie, and cigar. The best man also received the Hand of the King.

Then the time came. Tawny has been practicing in anticipation of this day for a long long time.

The ceremony itself was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding in that respect. Our father, Michael, was the officiant and he knocked it out of the park.

We can’t even begin to tell you how honored we were at the turn out. There were friends from every walk of life that made tremendous journeys to be there. Tawny and I were reminded how rich we are in sterling people.

Some of the highest highlights were:
Then my godfather gave us a traditional Hawaiian blessing. It was one of the most intensely raw and emotional moments of the whole wedding. He draped Tawny and me in a lei and delivered the whole blessing in Hawaiian. We both sweat from our eyes a lot for this part.
No event had more people bawling than the daddy-daughter dance. Chuck Norris cried.

Everyone in the family really pulled together to make the wedding look amazing. Martha Stewart would have died of envy.

Tawny’s cousin made the cake and Tawny made the cake toppers. I just cut the thing. Though I did so with a switch blade.

By FAR though, one of the single greatest moments was when Tawny’s cousin (I guess my cousin too, now) sang “You can have whatever you like” as per Tawny’s request. Prepare you mind to be blown by the juxtaposition of T.I’s lyrics lilting from the sweetest voice you’ve ever heard.

Luckily, the venue was not only stunning, but had plenty of fresh fruit to keep the wedding party occupied.

Keep your eyes peeled. As soon as our dear friends at Kristal Joy Photography send us the pictures, you’ll be the first to know. Well, obviously you’ll be the second to know, but that’s just tough.
We still love you all.
Chuck Norris shed a big tear of joy for this event indeed. Still one of the biggest regrets of our lives not being able to make it to this one… Glad this was amazing for you. Congrats again.
